The phenomenon of global warming and climate change may not only lead to climate change, but may also cause major changes in the tourism situation of the region and its sustainability, which will have far-reaching consequences and will destabilize the industry. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of vulnerability to climate change and resilience of tourism destinations on the sustainability of tourism development. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical method. The sample size corresponded to the statistical population was 185 people. The required data and information were collected in the form of library and field. Pls software was used to test the research hypotheses. The results showed that vulnerability to climate change has a negative effect on the sustainability of tourism development and resilience of tourism destinations has a negative effect on vulnerability to climate change. The results of this study also showed that the resilience of destinations has a positive effect on the sustainability of tourism development. Manuscript profile

This study aims to investigate the spatial variation of extreme temperature events in Iran. The data used include daily minimum and maximum temperature of 77 Iranian synoptic stations for the period 1985–2017. To calculate the extreme temperature indices, 16 indices recommended by the CCL/CLIVAR Group were used. The indices were calculated by the RclimDex package of R software. The hot and cold indices showed that, in general, the frequency of occurrence and spatial variation of temperature in Iran depends on the geographical location, topography, and environmental conditions of different parts of Iran. Because, except for the northern coasts, in high altitudes and high latitudes, the abundance of cold indices exceeds the maximum and the extreme warm indices have the lowest values, and in lower altitudes and low latitudes the warm indices of the maximum event and the extreme indices Colds have minimal occurrence. Also, the results of this study showed that from 1985 to 2017, the high-temperature indices have a higher frequency and spatial variability than the cold-indices. Also, the warm extreme indexes are more elongated, which is why the frequency of occurrence of WSDI in Iran reaches up to 10 periods, while the frequency of the CSDI index reaches up to six periods. The results indicate that the temperature of Iran is warmer and increasing thermal events may continue in the future. Manuscript profile

Drought is a natural and recurring feature of the climate that occurs in all climatic regions, but its structure and important effects vary from region to region. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the country's meteorological droughts over a long period of time using network data with appropriate spatial and temporal resolution. Data analysis was performed using SPEI multivariate index. The results of drought calculation showed that in terms of time during the period (1966-2015) the rainfall of the cold period of the year decreases in general, the decrease in rainfall in different parts of the country mainly starts from the late 90s In the last years of the study period, except in autumn, we see more repetition of dry periods and unlike the late 80s, droughts have occurred more. Moderate drought intensities are significant and experience of severe droughts, which are among the most critical areas of the country. Manuscript profile

Getourism, as one of the sustainable tourism, aims partaking of geologic and geomorphologic landforms and attracts in order to economic and social native community and sustainable development. In order to provide this aim, geotourism assess series of scientific, conservational and tourism indicators and criteria and determines suitable planning with present condition for sustainable development. Having different ponds, Sahneh city in Kermanshah province, is one of the tourism destinations in the province. Darband pond is one of the most important ponds in the city. This pond is located in northeast aspect of Sahneh city. Having geodiversity, beautiful nature, historical elements and suitable tourism services, this pond is one of the important tourism destinations. In this paper is tried for assessment geotourism and geotourism planning for Darband pond. For assessment geotourism, it is applied GAM and Fasoulas method that involve different geotourism values. These values are assessed by using librarian and surveying researches. Final results shows that Darband pond have suitable condition in order to geotourism development and sustainable development and causing equal values of scientific, conservational and tourism values, this geomorphosite is in sustainable condition, although it is not high level geomorphosite yet. However, this region has capability for affecting in sustainable development of Sahneh city, therefore, geotourism planning of the pond should determine on approach of marketing and economy and imperceptible raising of geotourism values in order to maintain sustainability Manuscript profile

Climate change and global warming is one of the challenges facing human society. Any change in ambient temperature can affect the life and activity of all living elements on planet Earth. The western and northwestern region is one of the most important habitats in Iran. To identify these changes in the study area, first the data of 31 stations were obtained from the site of the Meteorological Center and the daily temperature data of the warm period of the year for the period 1989 to 2018 were arranged. The warmest season in the region is from June to September.Climate change detection software has been used to detect climate change. Temperature anomalies were identified using the index z score standard. The final selection criterion for station anomalies was over 50% in the stations studied. Finally, this feature had 139 days during this warm period. In the next step, sea pressure level data were selected using a 253 * 139 matrix that justified 6 factors of 95.20% of the 4 month warm climate. The results showed that there are 5 general patterns of climate control in the region. In the meantime, two patterns emerge with warm advection across the region. In the three patterns, the prevailing synoptic conditions have led to a cooling of the atmosphere and cooling the air in the region. In cold advection patterns, generally, a combination of two migratory and low pressure European systems play the role of cold advection of polar latitudes on the northwest and west of Iran. But in the warm synoptic patterns in the lower thermal pressurized layer of the Saudi Arabia and in the upper layers of the Arabian Stack and Cyclone, warm southward propagation over the west of Iran has played a role in increasing the temperature in the region.
