Identification of logistics processes and components and determination of relationships between them for logistics centers layout (Study: Arak’s Logistics center)

Abstract :

For logistics centers location and layout, according to the conditions and situation of the area, it is necessary to identify the processes and components of the logistics center based on requirements and goals, and after that determine their relevance. The purpose of this paper is to identify the processes and logistics components and determine the relationship between them for layout the logistics center of Arak. Research method is descriptive – applied. The samples are two groups, first group are logistics and supply chain experts, for determining the processes and components for the logistics centers and the second group are managers and decision - makers in the logistics center of Markazi province, which determine the relationships of logistics process and components. Using the content analysis method, logistics processes and components are identified as four processes. DEMATEL method has used for determining the relationship between components. In the last, results and suggestions for the establishment of the Arak’s logistic center and future research are presented.
