Testing the Conceptual Model of the Relationship between Organizational Trust and Organizational Learning through Organizational Inertia in the Staff of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Fars

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to The relationship between organizational trust and organizational learning through organizational inertia in the staff of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Fars. This research was applied in terms of purpose, as well as descriptive-correlational in terms of nature and method and cross-sectional in terms of time. The statistical population in this study is all employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Fars, which is 114 people and according to Morgan table, 90 employees have been studied as a sample. The sampling method was stratified random. In this study, standard questionnaires of organizational trust of Elonen et al. (2008), organizational inertia of Politez and Karahana (2012) and organizational learning of Nife (2001) were used. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by the final approval of the supervisor and the reliability was confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha for all three questionnaires which were 0.938, 0.790 and 0.883 and more than 0.70, respectively. Pearson correlation test, regression analysis and structural equation modeling and SPSS and PLS software were used to answer the research questions. The results of Pearson correlation test showed a positive and significant relationship between organizational trust and their components with organizational learning; There was a negative and significant relationship between organizational inertia and their components with organizational learning and also a negative and inverse relationship between organizational trust and their components with organizational inertia. The results of regression analysis showed that organizational learning can be predicted based on organizational trust and the components of lateral, vertical and institutional trust. Organizational learning can be predicted based on organizational inertia and inertial components of insight and experience. Also, organizational inertia can be predicted based on organizational trust and the vertical trust component. Finally, the results of structural equation modeling have shown that The relationship between organizational trust and organizational learning through organizational inertia in the staff of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Fars, is not significant.
