Abstract :
Objective: The most fundamental characteristic of smart organizations in the 21st century is a focus on information and knowledge. Knowledge is a powerful tool that can create changes and innovations around the world. Organizations can manage their knowledge assets if they minimize the barriers related to knowledge management processes and maximize the enablers. The purpose of this research is to identify and rank the enablers of knowledge management implementation in Pars MCS Company.
Research Methodology: This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of nature and method. The approach used was AHP and IPA importance-performance analysis. Data collection in this research was carried out in two ways: library and field (questionnaire) methods. First, by studying the research background, the enablers of knowledge management implementation were identified, including seven factors of organizational structure, organizational culture, information technology, strategic approach, human resources, commitment and support of managers, and human resource management. Then, the importance and performance of these factors were evaluated. In order to determine the importance of enablers, the hierarchical process analysis approach and the opinions of five academic experts were used, and in order to determine their performance, the opinions of 11 managers and supervisors of Pars MCS Company were used. Finally, the enablers were categorized using the importance-performance approach.
Findings: The results showed that the factors of "organizational culture" and "managers' commitment and support" are in the excellent status area, and their continuation and maintenance of the current status is recommended. Also, the factors of "human resource management" and "strategic approach" are in the critical area, and the company's attention and investment in these factors is recommended.
Originality / Scientific added value: Identifying and ranking the enablers of knowledge management implementation in the company under study and determining the importance and classification of each enabler to determine the company's strengths and weaknesses and improving them in implementing knowledge management, in addition to improving organizational knowledge and its storage and transfer, can lead the company to competitive advantage and organizational excellence.
