Abstract :
unemployment is one of the most important issues facing the iranian economy , finding a solution to reduce it from the perspective of decision makers and decision makers .in this regard , economic growth as one of the strategies to reduce unemployment rate has been emphasized and considered under the title of okun law in economic literature .the higher the level of economic growth , the higher the amount and amount of invested capital that will lead to the improvement of employment status , arthur اکان in 1962 showed that in pursuit of an increase in economic growth , unemployment fell .in this paper , using arthur okun economic model , we examine the relationship between gdp and employment in iran in terms of correlation analysis , analysis and synthesis of descriptive statistics of the proposed model in order to achieve the employment status and study the trend of changes in the period 1991 - 2008 .regression analysis of gap pattern of economic model of okun will express the relationship between gdp and employment in the form of three models , linear , quadratic and exponential .iran 's gross domestic product and employment data and estimation of proposed mathematical models show that there is a positive and significant correlation between gdp and employment in iran .the results show that economic policy makers in iran , while seriously considering the importance of economic growth and employment in the country , will have a special view on human resource issues in the future which will become a limiting or accelerating economic growth factor .. .
