  Nowadays, doping and the use of unauthorized drugs is one of the most important issues in the sports community, which usually causes problems for both the athlete and the sports community. The infliction of material and spiritual injuries as well as physical injuries on athletes has always been one of the most important side effects of using unauthorized sports drugs, which has caused irreparable effects to the athlete and even led to his death. In the meantime, the legislator has always tried to address the issue of illicit drug use within the scope of criminal law, and in this regard Iran's criminal policy has emphasized this issue.. The research method used in this study is library studies in descriptive-analytical method and this study intends to study the criminal policy of Iran for use of unauthorized drugs in sport and to determine the criminal laws related to it.
