Transformers perform many functions such as voltage transformation, isolation and noise decoupling. They are indispensable components in electric power distribution system. However, at low frequencies (50 Hz), they are one of the heaviest and the most expensive equipment in an electrical distribution system. Nowadays, electronic power transformers are used instead of conventional power transformers that do voltage transformation and power delivery in power system by power electronic converter. In this paper, the structure of distribution electronic power transformer (DEPT) are analized and then paid attention on the design of a linear-quadratic-regulator (LQR) with integral action to improve dynamic performance of DEPT with voltage unbalance, voltage sags, voltage harmonics and voltage flicker. The presentation control strategy is simulated by MATLAB/SIMULINK. In addition, the results that are in terms of dc-link reference voltage, input and output voltages clearly show that a better dynamic performance can be achieved by using the LQR method when compared to other techniques. In this paper a new bidding strategy become modeling to day-ahead markets. The proposed algorithm is related to the point of view of a generation company (Genco) that its end is maximized its benefit as a participant in sale markets of active power and spinning reserve. In this method, hourly forecasted energy price (FEP) and forecasted reserve price (FRP) is used as a reference to model the possible and probable price strategies of Gencos. A bi-level optimization problem That first level, is used to maximize the individual Genco’s payoffs for obtaining the optimal offered quantity of Gencos. The second one, uses the results of the upper sub-problem and minimizes the consumer’s payment with regard to the technical and network constraints, which leads to the awarded generation of the Gencos. In this paper use of the game theory in exist optimization model. The paper proposes a linear programming approach. A six bus system is employed to illustrate the application of the proposed method and to show its high precision and capabilities. Manuscript profile

Color and shape are basic characteristics which are used to recognize traffic signs. In this paper, a new speed limit sign detection method in various conditions is proposed. In this method, color image is segmented based on a thresholding technique in HSI color space. Then, corner features are detected using convolution masks and found the location of sign. The first advantage of this method is high accuracy to detect the location of sign. So, the object can be detected with 30% noise level, 30 meters for distances of signs, and  for rotated signs. The second advantage of the proposed method is high speed in sign detection. Utimately, the type of sign can be recognized with eliminate redundant information and match between extracted image and database image. If the illumination conditions be ideal, the recognition rate is obtained to 89%. Manuscript profile

The all-optical transparent wavelength routed network is a promising candidate for the next-generation backbone network to provide large bandwidth at low cost. Due to transmission impairments, present in fibers and optical components, may significantly affect the quality of a lightpath, and, hence, in wavelength routed transparent optical networks, the best routing optimization, which is determined only by network-layer performance, might not be the best one or even worse after physical-layer performance taken into account. In order to overcome the above limitation, in this paper, we propose that routing optimizations should be evaluated from both network-layer performance and physical-layer performance and the best routing optimization should be chosen based on the overall performances, not just the network-layer performance. Also the network restoration has to be considered. Manuscript profile

Singular systems naturally exist in many physicall and practical systems in control issues. Also, a big group of nonlinear systems which can not be estimated by linear systems are carfully estimated by bilinear systems. On the other hand, if the user in sensetive systems dose not detect the fault on time,a considerable amount of  facilities and information will be damaged and destroyed; therefore, the fault detection and recognition in singular bilinear systems with unknown input disturbances and faults by using bilinear sliding mode observer, is done in this paper because of the importance that singular bilinear systems have in modeling physical systems and undesirable effect of fault on performances of systems. For this perpose, have at first singular bilinear system is decomposed, then a sliding mode observer is considered for it. More over, a method is given for fault detection and isolation base on sliding mode observer. And at the end, we have a simulation for a numeral example to illustrate the effect of given method. GPS based vehicle navigation systems have difficulties in tracking vehicles in urban canyons due to poor satellite availability. ABS (Antilock Brake System) Navigation System consists of self-contained optical encoders mounted on vehicle wheels that can continuously provide accurate short-term positioning information. In this paper, a new concept regarding GPS/ABS integration, based on Fuzzy Logic is presented. The proposed algorithm is used to identify GPS position accuracy based on environment and vehicle dynamic knowledge. The GPS is used as reference during the time it is in a good condition and replaced by ABS positioning system when GPS information is unreliable. We compare our proposed algorithm with other common algorithm in real environment. Our results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the stability and reliability of ABS/GPS navigation system. Manuscript profile

A hardware implementation of adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) core is proposed. Adaptive filters are widely used in different applications such as adaptive noise cancellation, prediction, equalization, inverse modeling and system identification. FIR adaptive filters are mostly used because of their low computation costs and their linear phase. Least mean squared algorithm (LMS) is used to train FIR adaptive filter weights. Advances in semiconductor technology especially in digital signal processors (DSP) and field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) with hundreds of mega hertz in speed, will allow digital designers to embed essential digital signal processing units in small chips. But designing a synthesizable core on an FPGA is not always as simple as DSP chips due to complexity and limitations of FPGAs. In this paper we design anLMS-based FIR adaptive filter for adaptive noise cancellation based on VHDL97 hardware description language (HDL) and Xilinx SPARTAN3E (XC3S500E) which utilizes low resources and is high performance and FPGA-brand independent so can be implemented on different FPGA brands (Xilinx, ALTERA, ACTEL). Simulations are done in MODELSIM and MATLAB and implementation is done with Xilinx ISE. Finally, result are compared with other papers for better judgment. Manuscript profile
