Abstract :

Whatever is in the skies and on the earth are worshiping Allah who is the knowledgeable, powerful, and pure king (Jome Sura, Verse one).  Among all worshipers of Allah, how is it possible for human being, who is the best creature of all, to remain indifferent?  The purpose of the study is to investigate human being’s need to say his prayers and the effect of prayers on economic health.  In the first step, the key words of prayers, health, economics, and economic health are discussed.  Then, the beautiful aspect of saying prayers, i.e., the spirit of fighting against evil deeds, and avoiding forbidden actions, are investigated by studying Holy Quran and Sacred figures’ words.  According to Islamic teaching, is wealth and property something positive or negative?  This is discussed in the study.  The other point is unlawful or Haram revenues, and occupations according to Islamic values.
