Abstract :
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of descriptive evaluation on social skills and academic progress in elementary school students of Damavand city in the academic year of 1402-1401. The research being investigated is that Matson's social skills questionnaire (1983) and the researcher-made academic achievement questionnaire are available to students who were selected by simple random sampling; will be given to answer each of the questions in a targeted way. For the data analysis method, considering that two independent groups have been considered (students with descriptive evaluation, students with traditional evaluation) As well as the use of the word average in research hypotheses, T-test of two independent samples was used. The results of the research show that the relationship between descriptive evaluation and social skill at the error level of 0.5. It is significant (05/.>sig). Also, descriptive evaluation of academic progress at the error level of 0.5. It is not significant (sig < .05).
