Abstract :
The aim of this study was to "Effectiveness of teaching based on the seven-step learning cycle model of Eisenkraft on improving self-efficacy and critical thinking skills of students in the Karaj district". The research method is applied and in terms of the semi-experimental method, with the implementation of pre-test and post-test with the control group . The statistical population is 1360 people. One of the schools was selected from one school, and from among the fifth-grade classes of that school was selected randomly. A 15-member class in the experimental group and a 15-member class in the control group. The sampling method in this research is a random cluster. In this research, library studies, educational package based on the Eisenkraft seven-step learning cycle model (2003), Morgan-Jinquez academic self-efficacy questionnaire (1999) and Rickets Critical Thinking Questionnaire (2003) were used.t validity of the questionnaires was reviewed and approved by the supervisors and counselors. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.82 and 0.87, respectively, after the distribution and collection of questionnaires using Cronbach's alpha. In descriptive statistics, use of tables, charts, frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, and inferential statistics using SPSS software, linear regression, covariance, t-test and independent Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests for data analysis. It turned out The results showed that the teaching based on the seven-step learning cycle model of Eisenckraff is effective on improving the dimensions of self-efficacy skills (talent, texture and effort), and the dimensions of critical thinking skills (creativity, agility, and commitment) of students in the Karaj district.
