Abstract :
Background: Knowledge management in public policymaking process, synthesised the insights from interdisciplinary works to promote training and skills in the field policy, and is very necessary for the success of the policy considering the growing complexity of policy issues. Objective: The main goal of this research is to collect; summary; assessment; and the connection and coherence of the theoretical literature in the field of knowledge management in public policymaking process. Methods: This research has been done using the qualitative method of metasynthesis. The research sampling method is purposeful sampling, articles and studies have been selected that can answer the research question. Findings: The knowledge management cycle; creation; retention; sharing and knowledge application; knowledge infrastructure; policy cycle; policy area; and outcomes, has been extracted as different dimensions and factors affecting on knowledge management in the process of public policymaking. Conclusion: Finally, the proper distribution of knowledge and policy learning in the field of policy making; policy diffusion, innovation and competitiveness; increasing the intellectual, social and psychological capital of the policy arena; improve problem-solving capacity, performance and productivity; And finally, the formulation, implementation and evaluation of the policy will be among the results of the implementation of knowledge management in the public policy making process.
