The effect of using social networks on empowerment of teachers considering the mediating role of knowledge transfer

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of teachers' use of social networks on empowering them with the mediating role of knowledge transfer. The purpose of this study is practical and descriptive correlational in nature. The population of the study consisted of 428 second-grade teachers in the second district of Bandar Abbas city. The sample size was 9 persons who were selected by stratified random sampling using Krejcie and Morgan table. Data collection tools were Spritzer Empowerment Questionnaires (1995) with 2 items, Halton et al. (1) education questionnaire with 2 items, 2-item social networks (1), face validity and content validated by experts. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine their reliability at the values of 0.5, 0.5 and 0.5, respectively. Data were analyzed using SPSS23 and LISREL8.80 software. The results showed that using social network had a direct effect on teachers' knowledge transfer. Using social networking has a direct effect on empowering teachers. Knowledge transfer has a direct effect on empowering teachers. And knowledge transfer plays a mediating role in the impact of using social networking on empowering teachers.
