The process for reviewing an paper in the Journal of Financial and Behavioral Research in Accounting is as follows:

1- After sending the paper by the author to the system, in the first stage, the paper will be reviewed in terms of observing the editing guide. (To speed up the judging process, please read the authors' guide carefully before submitting the paper and the paper should be carefully adjusted and then submitted based on the editing guide available in the system).

2- If accepted in the first stage, the paper in the second stage will be initially evaluated by the editor, the specialized secretary and the scientific committee in terms of content quality and relevance of the subject.

3- After acceptance in the second stage, the paper will be sent to two judges. The process of refereeing papers is as follows:

    • If two referees reject the paper, the paper will be rejected.
    • If the opinion of the two judges is a general review of the paper, the paper will be given to the author for review.
    • If the opinion of one referee is a general review and the other referee rejects the paper, the paper will be sent to the third referee and according to the opinion of the third referee, a decision will be made based on items 1 and 2.

4- After the author corrects and submits the paper based on the opinion of the judges, the paper will be given to one of the judges for comparative evaluation.

5- In case of corrections by the referees, the paper must be corrected and resubmitted by the author. Regarding those papers that are considered to be subject to correction according to the opinion of the respected judges of the journal, it is necessary for the respected authors of the paper to re-edit both the modified file of the paper in which the corrections have been marked with a different color and a separate file. Upload through the magazine site. It is obvious that non-observance of the two mentioned cases will cause the paper to be returned and the time of respected authors to be wasted.

6- Then the final refereeing of the paper is done and the status of the paper is determined.

7- The accepted paper, after the final editing and approval of the responsible author, will be placed in the ready-to-publish papers section of the journal's website.

An email will be sent to the judges every week to remind them, and if the paper is not judged after one month, the paper will be taken back from the referee and given to the new referee. Depending on the amount of corrections requested and the point of view of the judges and the speed and accuracy of the corrections by the authors, acceptance in this publication will take about 4 months (if the final approval of the judges). It is worth noting that the information of the judges and authors is confidential for both parties.
