Abstract :
The present study investigates the extent of employees’ motivation in cultural department of education ministry and its correlation to their vocational characteristics. The study is a descriptive-survey study. Aspina’s motivation questionnaire is used to collect data. The reliability of the questionnaire was determined to be 0.93. The population consists of 55 employees. Chi-square test and Pearson correlation coefficient are used to analyze the data. The results show that the employees have a high motivation(70.42). The relationship between motivation and vocational characteristics are not confirmed.
