Abstract :

This research has investigated the relationship between making career decision (processes of thinking and function that lead to choice a behavior among people who have alike situation in institute, office or workshop) and locus of control (persons assessment about their abilities and forces of world) among educational counselors of karaj township,so that 23 men counselors and 37 wemen counselors , in total 60 counselors have been chosen through four education by unplaced random sampling. The instruments that were used in this research were career decision inventory with (0.8872) reliability that was structured by researcher and rotters locus of control inventory. results showed there relationship between making career decision and locus of control and between making career decision and gender in educational counselors but there was no evidence about relationship between locus of control and gender.
