Abstract :
The present study seeks to evaluate Hafez's poetry in the first volume of the Divan's poems from a formalist and structuralist perspective. Using an analytic-descriptive approach and the basics of linguistics, we attempt to show how the intertwined elements of a sonnet influence the induction of meaning and the presence of contingent elements. In this formalist paper, the principle of equilibrium, namely phonetic, syllable, and lexical repetition, has been addressed to help the reader understand how to open the door to meaning through the understanding of phonetic and spiritual sonnets. Structural examination also focuses on the discussion of opposites, the focus on the deficiencies in literary text, and the role of the reader as a second creative. According to the findings of this study, texts can have formalistic and structural scrutiny that the creator of the work has used the meta-language and literary role of language. Examining Hafez's sonnets of the face and structure, while bringing us closer to the aesthetic realm of his poetry, also avoids unreasonable conclusions.
