The interaction of the genre of educational literature with prominent poetic forms (From the Samanid period to the end of the Timurid period)

Abstract :
Iranian culture and literature has been inextricably linked with education and ethics from the distant past to the present, and poets have always been among the pioneers of the order of moral and educational issues in society. In fact, it can be said that from the earliest periods of Persian poetry, the first topics that were regulated more than any other subject were the works of wisdom and morality, Works that have always been subject to evolution and change from the very beginning due to the different discourses of society And have adapted to the social and cultural conditions of each age; In fact, there is an undeniable interaction between artistic creations and social phenomena. This interaction, along with the content of literary works, is seen in the poetic forms of each period. Based on this and considering the importance of educational literature and its two-way relationship with different forms of Persian poetry, we decided to study the interrelationships of educational literature with the most prominent and fluctuating forms of Persian poetry, from the beginning to the end of the Timurid era. For this purpose, the works of prominent poets from the Samanid period to the end of the Timurid period with the focus on the study of educational literature based on historical periods in the form of ode, lyric, piece, Masnavi and quatrain were reviewed. It was shown in different forms in historical periods.
