Abstract :
Imam Muhammad-i Ghazali and Abd ar-Rahmān Jāmī are among the most prominent figures in Iranian culture. These two theological views are reflected in their works; Al-Ghazali is one of the great theologians of the Islamic world and his theological views can be seen in his works; Although Jami is known as a poet, he has expressed his theological views in his poems. These two are followers of the Ash'arites in their predominant theological tendencies, but in some cases, however, they do not accept the theological views of the Ash'arites. There are also differences in some theological views between the two. In the present study, the theological views of the two such as Unity of acts (tawhid al-af'al), their attitude towards philosophy, determinism and free will, the difference and unity of God's essence and attributes, the issue of God seeing, Immanence and Transcendence, reason and view of them, around it, bodily resurrection And intercession has been paid and the commonalities and points of difference between the two in these dimensions have been clarified. The results of the present study show that both Ghazali and Jami believe in the unity of acts, they are anti-philosophical. In the case of god seeing, al-Ghazali accepts vision, but is more inclined to Spiritual seen, and God knows that it is pure from the body, but Jami believes in bodily vision, and in this case he is completely naturalized from the Ash'arite point of view.
