Abstract :
In order to investigate the effect of magnetic field on plants, experiment on rice seeds Hashmi (Oryza sativavar.Hashemi) with 9 treatments and 3 replications. Plants with different treatments magnetic field (5, 15 and 30mT) at time 1, 2 and 4 h were treated. Parameters measured included the treatment of seed morphologicalcharacteristics such as germination percentage, germination rate, root length, shoot length, length, plant seeds, and biochemical features, such as measuring amylase, catalase, peroxidase, fructose Glucan, glucose, malondealdehyde content, proline, starch, sucrose, and total protein. Results showed that different levels ofmagnetic field on morphological and biochemical characteristics of rice seeds has a significant impact.Malondealdehyde content indicators such as enzyme activity and proline content increased with increasingmagnetic field intensity and the duration of the treatment period, with a significant proportion of theseparameters in the control group were treated seeds. Magnetic field as well as different levels of markers such asgermination rate, germination, plant length and shoot length, showed no significant difference compared tocontrol seeds. Root length, fructose content, glucan, glucose, sucrose, starch and total protein and activity ofcatalase, amylase, peroxidase in seeds treated with different magnetic field than in the control group decreased.Magnetic field intensity and the duration of the test at the germination stage of rice Hashemi H2O2 accumulationand oxidative stress have negative effects.
