Investigating the Relationship between Strategic Flexibility, Organizational Agility, and Sales Volume – A Case

Abstract :
Introduction: Today, most companies are faced with the challenge of selling on time and in quantity. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between strategic flexibility, organizational agility, and sales volume of Pegah Fars Company.
Methodology: This study is a descriptive and correlational research. The statistical population of the study included all employees of Pegah Fars Company in 1403, approximately 800 people who were engaged in activities at the time of the study. Simple random sampling was carried out and finally 263 people were selected and questionnaires were distributed among them. In order to collect information, the strategic flexibility questionnaires of Sanchez (2005), organizational agility of Zhang and Sharifi (2000), and sales of Baldov et al. (2001) were used. The validity of the questionnaires was obtained using convergent validity of 0.73, 0.72 and 0.79, respectively, and the reliability of the questionnaires was obtained using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.76, 0.79 and 0.84, respectively. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics indicators (frequency, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics indicators (structural equations).
Results and Discussion: The results of the findings showed that there is a significant relationship between strategic flexibility and organizational agility in Pegah Fars Company. There is a significant relationship between strategic flexibility and sales volume in Pegah Fars Company. There is also a significant relationship between organizational agility and sales volume in Pegah Fars Company.
Conclusion: Considering today's conditions (5th Industrial Revolution), the existence of strategic importance and agility in improving the performance of organizations; the results of this research can confirm and emphasize the importance of strategic flexibility and organizational agility in sales volume for company managers; especially Pegah Fars Company.
