The Synthesis and Chearacterization of (3-P-Tolyl Isoxazol-5-Yl) Methyl Pantanoate

Abstract :
Isoxazole Compounds which have various pharmacological applications act as antivirus. It has been proved that they are effective on the cure of Parkinson and Alzheimer disease. In the present research, two kinds of isoxazole and an oxime compound have been synthesized. 4-Methyl benzaldehyde was changed into 4- methyl benzaldoxime (1) by increasing of sodium hypochlorite to hydroxylamine hydrochloride in pyridine as a solvent. The compound (1) was changed to nitrile oxide and [3+2] cycloaddition happertled by using propargyl alcohol. As a result (3-p-tolyl isoxazole -5-yl) methanol (2) was prepared. In the final step, (3-ptolyl isoxazole-5-yl) isobutyrate (3) was obtained by reaction of isobutyrate acid and compound (2) in H2SO4. The srructure of synthesized compounds were confirmed by FT-IR, 1H NMR. and 13C NMR spectroscopies.
