Abstract :
This research was conducted with the aim of studying the relationship between physical fitness and general health of employees of Basij bases in Azadshahr city. The current research is a description of the correlation type that was carried out in the field. The statistical population of the present study included all the employees of Basij bases in Azadshahr city, of which 39 people were selected as subjects. To collect research data, physical fitness tests and Goldberg's general health questionnaire (1972) were used. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the research data. For this purpose, SPSS software version 22 was used. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between physical fitness and physical health of employees. No significant relationship was observed between physical fitness and anxiety. The results showed that there is no significant relationship between physical fitness and employee depression. Finally, the results of the research showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between physical fitness and social dysfunction of employees of Basij bases in Azadshahr city.
