An investigation of the verb sequence: verb in Hendijani's dialect

Abstract :
The Hendijani dialect is one of the most popular dialects in Khouzestan Province that the vast majority of people in Hendijan city speak it. Typologically this dialect considered to be one of the Western New Iranian languages and dialects and due to similarities that it has with Lori dialects it is said to be one of them. This descriptive-analytical article aims to recognize the verb system of Hendijani dialect. This research has been conducted based on the interview with the subjects' age range from middle to the old and illiterate to less illiterate. The data, then are analyzed regarding the frequency of occurrence. The results show that in this dialect the future verb tense doesn't exist and simple present tense is used instead
