        Derivation and compound are two main word-formation processes in Persian language. Since the verb is the most important element in the lexical and syntactic system, productivity of language in making diverse and numerous verbs is very important, so that these verbs were being productive and other words can be derived from them. This basic process is done through the process of derivation. Simple verbs are the most important elements in the Persian language that they can do the derivation. A glimpse on the usage of verbs in contemporary Persian language shows an inordinate tendency to make compound verbs, so that the number of simple verbs is very litter than of compound verbs, and the extant simple verbs mostly are being change to compound verbs. If this condition be continued, it can lead to gradual weakness and perhaps to stop verbal derivation in Persian language. In this paper, we will study the condition of simple and compound verbs in contemporary Persian language, and we criticize the theories about it, then the solutions will be studied to remedy this situation. Based on it, with usage and supporting the structures that they are subset of simple verbs or related with them, we can revive the ability of verbal derivation in Persian language. Supporting the potential of making Conversional Verbs; using the Causative Verbs and using the Prefixal Verbs are the most important solutions for revive verbal derivation in contemporary Persian language.         Mousirazi dialect is one of the southern Khorasan Razavi dialect which is spoken in the Mousiraz village in the neighborhood of Gonabad city. This research seeks to ascertain the extent to which vocabulary or random vocabulary is used in Persian language, in comparison with some compound and phrasal verbs in the Mousirazi dialect. Due to immigration to other cities and the declination of the native population of this village, the dialect is in danger, as the new generation has a very different life style in which you hardly encounter the elders' language especially in vocabularies. In this study, the method is field research and the data were collected through interviews with a different range of people especially elderly native speakers. The collected data were limited to 93 of the current compound verbs and phrases and the words from other categories were disregarded. The results indicated that there are verbs including compound verbs without any equivalence in standard Persian. It is notable that in Mousirazi dialect verbs that represent emotions and interpersonal relationships are used with a wider range rather than standard Persian. Manuscript profile

Typologically this dialect considered to be one of the Western New Iranian languages and dialects and due to similarities that it has with Lori dialects it is said to be one of them. This descriptive-analytical article aims to recognize the verb system of Hendijani dialect. This research has been conducted based on the interview with the subjects' age range from middle to the old and illiterate to less illiterate.
