Abstract :
The West part of Iranwith all its role-playingbrilliant historical precedent, and macro-cultural status, and needs to be comprehensively investigatedThis area has always been very important due to the Khorasan commercial road passing through it. The passing of the commercial road from Khorasan to Kermanshah brings the topic of trade into the archaeological studies of this region. The existence of the commercial road, which extended from Tisfon and contemporary Kermanshah, has led to the prosperity of trade in this region from long time ago until today. In the references and writings of historians and geographers, Throughout history, this region has always been considered to include a large territory of the Iran's land. This area has been one of the main centers of residence and commercial activity, whose traces can be seen throughout the history of Iran in the ancient and Islamic era, and the reason for that is the commercial road that is part of the Great Khorasan highway. Along all the roads, tolls and tariffs were collected from caravans. Due to the traffic of caravans and heavy customs on this trade road, maintaining the security and comfort of traders and the cities located on this trade route has been prioritized by governments. Considering the importance of this road in the Sassanid era and how to secure it, in this article, while introducing the Khorasan highway in the western parts of the Sasanian kingdom, it has been tried to examine the issue of how to secure it
