Abstract :
The "difference in succession" has been the most important factor in the rift among the Shiites, and the formation of the Ismaili sect stems from this important factor. However, the Ismaili sect has played an important role in the socio-political life of Muslims and has received less attention from the point of view of political analysis. The idea of the article is that the central concept or superior signifier of Ismaili political discourse is the concept of "Imam" in such a way that all other concepts and marginal signals are in "intentional" relation to it and are important to its validity. The Ismaili Imam, by virtue of any age and the expediency of the ruling political discourse, is sometimes absent and sometimes present, what is important and unchangeable is the sanctity of the Imam's orders, which gives meaning to the Ismaili world. The present study has been written based on library resources and descriptive and analytical methods.
