Abstract :
Given that Postman's views and his particular attention to the media and the use of technology and its effects on culture, values, and morals in our country as a relatively new phenomenon, many families have faced with emerging problems, the writer on it To study the contemporary challenges of the Iranian family from this perspective. This research is considered as an applied research type. The purpose of applied research is to develop applied knowledge in a particular context. The present study was conducted using qualitative research method and using semi-guided interviewing tool to collect data. The statistical population was interviewed by one of the professors, a translator of Postman's books in Persian, five experts and experts in the field of family and media from the professors of the universities of Tehran and a faculty member and author of research papers on the effects of mass media on the family and Four others were from the professors of the philosophy of education, who were professed by techno poly about the media's impact on education, children and family, and the change of culture and value. The findings of the study, which sought to analyze the responses of interviewees to the contemporary Iranian family challenges from a social and cultural perspective, in terms of ethics and value, based on Postman's theory of postgraduate education, included media education dominance, the threat of children's education, family threats.
