Relationship teachers' information literacy with effectiveness of intelligent schools

Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the RelationshipTeachers' Information Literacy with Effectiveness of Intelligent Schools. The research population of all teachers of Smart schools in district 5 of Tehran is 1109 people. A sample of 285 individuals was selected through simple random sampling from this society. The research method is quantitative, descriptive and from the type of correlation study. The research tool is a questionnaire. A researcher-made questionnaire of 24 information literacy questions and a researcher-made questionnaire on 18 school effectiveness questions were used for collecting data. Cronbach's alpha and confirmatory factor analysis techniques were used to determine the reliability and validity of the tool. Results indicated that the reliability and validity of the tool were desirable. Descriptive (center and dispersion indicators) and inferential (single sample T tests, Pearson correlation coefficient and linear multivariate regression) were used for data analysis, by SPSS software. The results indicate that: The teachers 'information literacy has a positive, direct and significant relationship with the effectiveness of the intelligent schools in Tehran's 5th region in the alpha level of 0.05. In addition, teachers' information literacy has a positive, direct and significant effect on the effectiveness of intelligent schools in the fifth district of Tehran in the alpha level of 0.05.
