Abstract :
In this era with its fast-growing changes and developments, managers of organizations are compelled to think about the new situation to achieve the success needed for their organization. One of the most important approaches toward empowerment and development of human capital in order to develop the knowledge, skills and practice of personnel is investing in on-the-job training (OJT) courses. This research was done to find out the impact of OJT of Qazvin Provincial Government personnel on their empowerment. This applied descriptive study used a survey to gather its data. Its statistical population of the study was Qazvin Provincial Government personnel that had attended the OJT courses; 92 samples were selected among the personnel using simple stratified sampling method. The results showed that, from the point of view of learners who attended the OJT courses, the courses have been effective on the development of different aspects of empowerment. The results indicated that OJT would increase and promote the empowerment of Qazvin Provincial Government personnel towards their job and organization.
