Designing an Entrepreneurial Training Model to Empower Employees in the Banking System

Abstract :
The key to changing the present situation in a company is to create new strategies, achieve entrepreneurial opportunities, develop new technologies, capabilities, products and services and introduce new business models. Therefore, this study aimed to design an entrepreneurial training model for bank employees in order to empower them. This research is practical research, and the method of data collection is qualitative, with semi-structured interviews and using the content analysis method. Interviews with the participant continued until theoretical saturation was reached. This purpose was achieved through 17 interviews. Participants were selected for the interview via the snowball method, and data analysis was done through 3 coding steps with MAXQDA2020 software. According to research results, entrepreneurial empowerment of employees (knowledge, skills, motivation) can be done through entrepreneurial training. For this purpose, the antecedents include: institutionalizing entrepreneurial culture, institutionalizing entrepreneurship education, new electronic technology, changing business model, developing digital economy, problem- solving, responding to environmental changes and the propellant in entrepreneurial training including: institutional and legislative factors, effective communication with the university, BLOCKCHAIN technology, CRYPTOCURRENCIES, global mega-trends, identify entrepreneurial opportunities, shared economy, privatization, coaching, educational needs assessment, holding seminars, exhibitions. Entrepreneurial employees face a number of factors at both an individual and organizational levels. Furthermore, the implications of entrepreneurial training in empowering employees in the banking system were determined as follows: national and international implications, were identified.
