The results showed that acceptance and commitment therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy had a significant effect on the emotional intelligence components of mothers of preschool children (p <0.01). The results also showed that in the components of emotion regulation, perception of the variable emotional intelligence of cognitive behavioral therapy was more effective than acceptance and commitment based therapy (p <0.01) and only in the component of emotion regulation between cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance-based therapy. There was no significant difference between commitment and commitment (p >0.01).
