Abstract :
Relation between parenting styles and parental perfectionism with their children’s academic motivation Aabsrtact:The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting styles and parental perfectionism with the determination of their children. the research method was descriptive and correlational the stoical population of the study included all male and females student secondary school in Damghan city (along with their parents)(N=1359). The academic year 1394-1395. A total of 300 students(girls 150, boys 150) were selected through multistage cluster randomly. They were asked to complete the questionnaire of styles parental parenting parental perfectionism dimensions and academic motivation scale .data analysis was performed using multivariate regression method .according to these results of research the style of effective parenting and other dimensions of the parent circuit and parenthood can predict the academic motivation of their children .in general Parents can take can take steps to improve their parenting by adopting proper parenting practices and rational expectations of their children.
