Abstract :
This research was conducted with the aim of investigation the role of individual and social variables on university students’ creativity. Through random multi-stages sampling 366 undergraduate students from university of Mazandaran were selected. The scales of the present study were “creative achievement questionnaire”, “3d wisdom scale”, “general self-efficacy scale”, “creative self-efficacy scale”, “work preference inventory” and “perception of creative climate”. The data was analyzed by structural equational modeling method with AMOS software. According to the results, intrinsic motivation and creative self-efficacy can predict creative achievement. Wisdom and general self-efficacy haven’t significant impact on creative achievement. The predictive role of creative climate in the creative achievement of students was confirmed. Creative climate of university can predict 0/26 of variance in creativity. Also, the mean of creative achievement in sample was low. The individual variables and creative climate of university as a social variable play a significant role in creativity of university students.
