Abstract :
The purpose of the current research was to identify and validate effective strategies for creating capacities and political bases in sports. The research method was mixed in terms of data collection, which was qualitative-quantitative. The statistical community in the qualitative section included the statistical community in the qualitative section included sports management experts, experts from the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee. Field of study and having scientific publications related to the subject, having managerial positions and executive experience in sports politics and diplomacy, having managerial positions and executive experience in the field of sports were among the selection indicators for the initial list of experts. In the quantitative section, there were managers and experts of the Ministry and Sports and Youth Departments, whose number included 360 people. The research tool included semi-structured interviews and a structured researcher questionnaire, which was designed according to the codes extracted in the qualitative part. Qualitative part analysis was done with Maxqda software, and quantitative part analysis was done with AMOS structural equation model software. The relevant results have been given to effective strategies on creating capacities and political platforms in sports, which include 5 concepts and 18 final codes that have been identified and approved. The results of this research showed that research strategies included investing in the promotion of soft power, training human resources, developing a strategic plan, and using all capacities. Finally, the results of the model were also confirmed in terms of validation.
