Needs assessment and presentation of a comprehensive model of mental and social health education for the families of Kermanshah prison staff

Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to assess the needs and provide a comprehensive model of mental and social health education for the families of prison staff in Kermanshah province. The statistical population in a small part included the families of all prison staff in Kermanshah province in 1399. Using stratified random sampling, 100 people were selected as a statistical sample. Delphi method and semi-structured interview were used to obtain qualitative data. For qualitative analysis, MAXQDA software and coding process were used, and in the quantitative part, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling, SPSS and SMART PLS software were used. The results of the present study showed that in identifying the mental health and social health education needs of the families of prison staff in Kermanshah province, 103 primary indicators were obtained, which were classified into 12 general factors and 2 categories of mental health and social health. Were. Based on the results of the Delphi interview and method, self-control acceptance, personal growth and development, mental well-being, emotional well-being, quality of life, perceived justice, social participation, group belonging, social adjustment, social trust, social support are the most important needs of mental health education. Socially, the families of the prison staff are in Kermanshah province. Fitting of the comprehensive model of mental and social health education of the families of prison staff in Kermanshah province was also reported based on favorable structural equations.
