Abstract :
The aim of this study was to predict marital adjustment based on the marital gratitude component (felt gratitude and express gratitude) and humility perceptions component (global humility, superiority and accurate view of self) among married women in Ahvaz city. The present research method was correlational and predictive. The statistical population of this study was ordinary married women and divorce applicants in Ahvaz in 1396. Among ordinary women, 100 were selected by available sampling method and 100 divorced women were selected by purposive sampling method. The instruments for data gathering included Dyadic Adjustment Scale (Spanier, 1976), gratitude state (Mitchell, 2010) and relational humility scale (Davis, et al…, 2011). For the analysis of the data, discriminant analysis method was used. Results showed that felt gratitude, superiority, felt gratitude, express gratitude, global humility, superiority and accurate view of self were significant prediction for marital adjustment of married women. ( p< 0/001). Accordin to this finding felt gratitude, superiority, felt gratitude, express gratitude, global humility, superiority and accurate view of self has an important role in marital adjustment. ( p< 0/001)
