Abstract :

  The aim of this research was to study the simple and multiple relationships of achievement motive and psychological hardiness with sensation–seeking and accountability among employees of different branches of a bank in Isfahan .A random sample of was selected. The sample completed the three research questionnaires. By applying correlation and regression analysis, the results indicated that the achievement motive had a negative and significant relationship with sensation–seeking (r= , P ). In addition to this, multiple correlation of achievement motive and psychological hardiness with sensation–seeking (R= , P < ) were higher than each variable alone. Furthermore, multiple correlation of achievement motive and psychological hardiness with accountability (R= , P < ) were higher than their simple correlation.
