Abstract :
Critical discourse analysis is a new approach and an important branch of discourse analysis. One of the applications of this approach is in the field of literature and the review of literary works. Tahereh Saffarzadeh is one of the prominent contemporary poets and singer of poems of resistance and enduring epics. Taking into account that the present research focuses on Tahera Saffarzadeh's epic poems based on Farklaf's critical discourse, in order to find out the influence of social, cultural and political factors on her poems. In order to achieve this purpose, the poems of this lady poet have been examined at three levels: description, interpretation and explanation. This article is done by content analysis method with descriptive-analytical approach. The results show that Tahereh Saffarzadeh, by combining the dimensions of the dominant discourses of the Pahlavi era and the Islamic revolution, has reproduced the dominant discourse structure of two different political and, consequently, social periods of those times; Therefore, his poems have reproduced a special discourse order by criticizing the actions of Pahlavi period politicians, abhorring colonialism and coercion.
