Abstract :

Story of Joseph and Zulcikha is one of the most interesting stories of Quran which has intrigued writers and poets to publish about this story. Khavari is among poets who have boasted their ability to versify this story. On the other hand in order to elaborate on the life and character ofJacob Quran has to be the basic source. In a comparison of Khavari 's book with Quran and Almizan it becomes obvious that the poet has referred to Quran and taken into consideration all the historical and ethical details to versify this story. The present article compares and studies the story of Joseph and Zuleikha in three different resources namely Quran, Almizan and Khavaris book.
