The role of organizational culture in explaining the relationship between decision making models and organizational trust (Case Study of Education Mazandaran Province)

Abstract :
Background and Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of organizational culture in explaining the relationship between decision making models and organizational trust in education Mazandaran province. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population of this study includes all administrative staff of Mazandaran education in 1412 people. Using cluster sampling, 306 individuals were selected as the statistical sample. Data were gathered through questionnaires of decision making model, organizational trust and organizational culture.The face and content validity of the tool was confirmed by the experts and their reliability was calculated 0.83, 0.87 and 0.89, using the Cronbach Alpha coefficient test. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics used frequency, frequency, mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics, multivariate regression test. Findings: There is a meaningful relationship between Carnegie decision making model and organizational trust in agencies with participatory culture and mission. In administrations with entrepreneurial culture, there is a meaningful relationship between the decision-making model and organizational trust, and there is a meaningful relationship between bureaucratic culture departments between the waste bin decision making model and organizational trust. Conclusion: In organization with different cultures there is a meaningful relationship between the decision-making model and organizational trust.
