Foresight in Designing a Model for Organizational Learning-Based Development of Education in Iran

Abstract :
The development of education in any country is crucial for its comprehensive and sustainable progress. In this regard, a shift in mindset and the creation of shared ideals for learning, where everyone learns and teaches, are of great importance. Considering the growing changes and societal needs, this research aims to examine foresight in designing a model for the development of education in Iran. The study is applied in terms of purpose, descriptive-exploratory in nature, employs survey as the data collection method, and adopts a quantitative approach. The target population consists of academic faculty members at Mazandaran University, categorized by their academic rank (assistant professor, associate professor, and professor). Based on Cochran's formula, a total of 123 faculty members were selected to complete the questionnaires using simple random sampling. The required data was collected through questionnaires. Delphi technique, structural equations, and fuzzy inference system were used for data analysis. The results indicate that the country's development model for education, based on organizational learning, encompasses three dimensions: organizational learning culture, knowledge sharing, and systemic perspective. The dimension of knowledge sharing has the highest impact on the main concept. Furthermore, based on the fuzzy inference system results, the maximum level of development for education based on organizational learning, considering the existing potentials, is 0.835, which is 0.165 less than the complete optimal level.
