Providing a Model for Promoting Intelligence in Islamic Azad University of Hormozgan Province

Abstract :
This research was aimed at providing a model for the promotion of intelligence in Islamic Azad universities in Hormozgan province. The statistical population consisted of all PhD students, managers, staff and faculty members of Islamic Azad University of Bandar Abbas in the academic year of 1396-97. The sample size was estimated to be 306 by Cochran formula. A stratified sampling was used to select the sample. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire based on the 5-item scale. Validity of the questionnaire was verified formally and content. The reliability of the questionnaire was obtained through Cronbach's alpha for the whole questionnaire of 0.91.Kolmogorov-Smirnov tests, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to analyze the data. The results of the study revealed 10 components and 74 indicators as components of intelligence promotion in Islamic Azad universities of Hormozgan province. Their names were as follows:Executive power "with 11 indicators," competitiveness "with 10 indicators," desire to change "with 7 indicators," agreement and unity "with 7 indicators, branding with 10 indicators," knowledge application "with 6 indicators," performance pressure " "With 7 indicators," Strategic Perspective "with 6 indicators," Common Fate "with 5 indicators and" Morale "with 5 indicators.
