Abstract :
In this study, the standardization of the fifth edition of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children in students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder was addressed. The purpose of this study was to calculate the psychometric coefficients of this tool, which include construct validity, concurrent criterion validity, and internal consistency and consistency coefficients. The statistical population of this study was 1350 students, of which 1200 were normative and did not experience any complications, and these individuals were evaluated through cluster sampling. On the other hand, 150 samples have a clinical background and were selected for evaluation and targeted treatment services through the diagnostic criteria of DSM5-TR by therapists of the Education and Training Counseling Center of Regions 1, 4, and 6 in two private clinics, Ravanama and Ravanama Novin, and the Education and Training Counseling Center of Region 1. The Stanford Binet Intelligence Scale, fifth edition, was administered to the samples as a concurrent criterion, and the findings showed that there is concurrent criterion validity in students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Also, with emphasis on the orthogonal hierarchical method, test-retest method, and Cronbach's alpha method, the construct validity, stability coefficient, and internal consistency have good validity in students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
