An insight into the relationship between "knowledge of jurisprudence" and "Islamic lifestyle"

Abstract :

The external behaviors of people, which are consciously chosen by them, constitute their lifestyle, although the choice of a lifestyle is subject to many variables that must be taken into account. On the other hand, the revealing religion of Islam also claims to regulate human life in this world and the hereafter, and has many behavioral recommendations that are often examined in the science of jurisprudence. By explaining permissible behaviors that are in line with human perfection, the science of jurisprudence creates the basis for harmonizing the evolutionary will of man with the legislative will of God Almighty and explains the path of conduct for humans that is in line with the Resurrection. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the relationships between "knowledge of jurisprudence" and "Islamic lifestyle." Although in recent years, effective and desirable steps have been taken towards specializing jurisprudence, there is still a noticeable and tangible gap in "jurisprudence of lifestyle". Accordingly, the main question of the present study is: "What relationships and connections are conceivable between "jurisprudence knowledge" and "Islamic lifestyle"?" To answer this question, in the first step, each of the two “jurisprudence” and “Islamic lifestyle” must be explained and analyzed. In the second step, the subject, predicate, method, and scope of both sciences are examined. The third step is to recognize the similarities and differences between these two sciences, and in the final step, a model of mutual services between jurisprudence and lifestyle must be drawn. The result of the present study is that the knowledge of jurisprudence on the Islamic lifestyle can have the following effects: modeling, foundation, human existential areas, goal setting, jurisprudential rules, making it obligatory and sanctifying, new areas, and applying the Javaheri jurisprudence method in the knowledge of the Islamic lifestyle.
