The meta-synthesis of organizational innovative culture based on transformational leadership style in educational organizations

Abstract :
The absence of an innovative culture and transformational leadership has led to a decrease in productivity and organizational performance, resulting in employee disillusionment and impacting overall organizational efficiency. Educational organizations lacking an innovative culture may fall behind their competitors and lose their ability to compete and adapt within the community. This research aims to present a model of organizational innovative culture based on the transformational leadership style in educational organizations using the meta-synthesis technique. For this purpose, employing Sandelowski and Barroso's (2007) seven-step method for meta-synthesis and utilizing theoretical foundations and previous studies from 2014 to 2023 and 2015 to 2025, 248 sources were identified. After several rounds of critique and review of the information during the meta-synthesis process, 33 final articles remained. Following open, axial coding and categorization, five categories were identified: a supportive creative working environment; empowerment and entrepreneurship of employees; transformational leadership style; innovation in services and processes; and responding to the educational needs of students and the community, along with 73 open codes. As a result, it is recommended that organizing workshops and educational seminars for staff and managers can significantly enhance the innovative culture. These workshops can focus on creativity, critical thinking, and innovation management skills, encouraging new ideas.
