Abstract :

"The present research aims to investigate the impact of environmental, technological, and organizational factors on the intention to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) in the insurance industry. In terms of purpose, this research is an applied study; in terms of data collection method, it is a field study; and in terms of research nature, it is a descriptive study. The statistical population of the research includes employees of insurance companies located in East Azerbaijan Province, with a total of 725 employees in 29 insurance companies in the province. Convenience sampling was used for sampling, and the statistical sample size was determined to be 251 people using Morgan's table. The main instrument used in this research is the standard questionnaires of Pan et al. (2022) to measure environmental, technological, and organizational factors, and the Information Technology Adoption Questionnaire of Venkatesh et al. (2012) to measure the adoption of artificial intelligence, which have acceptable validity and reliability. To analyze the data, the structural equation modeling (SEM) method, specifically the path analysis technique using SmartPLS software, was used to test the research hypotheses. The results of the hypotheses test show that environmental, technological, and organizational factors have a positive effect on the intention to adopt artificial intelligence in insurance companies located in East Azerbaijan Province."
