Analysis of the influential components of professional skills on sustainable rural employment in Iran based on quantitative and qualitative analyses

Abstract :
Nowadays, sustainable rural development and, consequently, sustainable employment creation is one of the important topics that has become more important than ever, given the expansion of the territory of rural areas and the presence of many important resources in this sector. Therefore, in this study, which was conducted with the aim of identifying the main components of sustainable employment creation for rural people, an attempt has been made to identify and introduce the effective components in this regard by using a mixed research method (qualitative-quantitative) and using theme analysis and analysis of the main components and the views of experts and specialists in this field. The results of this study show that the main components of professional skills development in order to create sustainable rural employment in Iran consist of 21 concepts that can be placed in six sub-themes of individual development, social system, government, infrastructure, economic system and resources, which can ultimately be classified into three main themes of human, support and environmental dimensions.
