Application of Multi-Objective Programming Model for Supplier Selection in Supply Chain Based on QFD Approach

Abstract :
The present study examines an innovative hybrid approach for supplier selection and order allocation aimed at improving quality performance and employing multi-criteria decision-making methods. The primary objective of this research is to develop a comprehensive method including the SWARA technique for evaluating qualitative criteria and goal programming alongside sensitivity analysis for optimal supplier selection. In this study, the QFD technique has been utilized to extract and determine qualitative criteria, and a literature review has been conducted to identify quantitative criteria. Subsequently, the combined SWARA-QFD-GP technique has been employed for evaluating, selecting, and allocating orders to suppliers. The findings of the study indicate that among the qualitative requirements, "material tolerance" has been identified as the most important criterion, and "consistency in bag handle shape" as the least important criterion. The conclusion revealed that Bandar Imam Petrochemical was selected as the primary and prioritized supplier, with other suppliers ranked as Amir Kabir Petrochemical, Arya Sasol Petrochemical, Shazand Arak Petrochemical, and Lorestan Petrochemical, respectively. By utilizing goal programming, it was determined that all demands should be fulfilled by Bandar Imam Petrochemical, and sensitivity analysis confirmed that this supplier is consistently recognized as a sustainable supplier. This research contributes to enhancing the supplier selection and order allocation process through innovation in combining decision-making methods and sensitivity analysis.
