Study of criteria and elements of the future school in Iran, using the advanced method of Delphi Fazi

Abstract :
Introduction: With the increasing speed of future developments in the educational system, it is necessary to examine the physical environment of educational spaces and educational equipment and technologies in future schools. This research has analyzed the criteria and elements of future schools in Iran with a logical and scientific approach. Research methodology: In terms of purpose, application, and in terms of method and nature, the current research is placed in the category of mixed research. The statistical population of the current research consists of experts and experts in the field of future schools, including university professors, teachers and prominent managers in the country's education, who have conducted studies in the field of schools, learning and educational programs, as well as the training of future teachers. In the qualitative part of the research, a semi-structured interview was used to collect information, and its validity and reliability were confirmed using the content validity coefficient and Cohen's kappa test. Also, in the quantitative section, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect information, and its validity and reliability were confirmed using confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha. In the qualitative part, the data obtained from the interview were analyzed using Excel software and the criteria and elements of future schools were identified. Also, in the quantitative part of the research, using the fuzzy Delphi approach, the criteria of future schools in Iran were prioritized and the most important ones were identified. Findings: After analyzing the data, the findings showed that the criteria and elements of future schools in Iran include 10 criteria and 48 elements. Conclusion: From the point of view of experts, the criteria of technology development, teaching processes, management characteristics, learning processes, participatory policies, attitude towards school, forward-looking thinking, safety and health, architecture and indoor air influence the formation of future schools.
