Abstract :
Improving the entrepreneurial capacity is an important factor in improving the economic situation and preventing the departure of the residents of the region. One of the things that can be used to improve entrepreneurship in city and countryside is to use the capabilities of each region with regard to the tourism industry. Due to its high environmental potential in attracting tourists, Oramanat region can be considered as one of the areas that diversify the region's economy. The current research was conducted with the aim of investigating the capacities and limitations of Oramanat region for the development of the tourism industry with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. The method of conducting descriptive-analytical research was using library documents and field research, interviews and questionnaires among experts and residents of Oramanat region (312 people). According to experts in the field of geography and planning, six issues were identified, including border shopping markets, land transportation system, eco-tourism settlements, natural attractions, the arrival of holy defense tourists, and local indigenous arts. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, binomial test, one-group t test and Friedman test were used in SPSS software to analyze the data. The results obtained from the analysis of 6 items showed that Oramanat region can currently benefit from natural attractions and border shopping markets for the development of entrepreneurship. But things like the inadequacy of eco-tourism settlements and the lack of suitable access routes require attention to these criteria. On the other hand, due to the lack of infrastructural and cultural conditions for the entry of tourists to the holy defense and the introduction of local indigenous arts, these two criteria do not have a sufficient platform to attract tourists in the current situation. According to the results of the ranking of the studied variables, it was found that the highest priority of the region for the development of entrepreneurship through tourism, respectively, includes border shopping markets (2.83), natural attractions (2.70), land transportation system (2.51), settlements Ecotourism (2.37), local indigenous arts (2.22) and the arrival of holy defense tourists (1.94).
